Alma -Â Leading Role -Â A Family Reunion
IN SERIES OPERA
Alma is the matriarch of the family who have come together after the father's death. Alma is in late stages of Alzheimer's and her family is making decisions about how to take care of her. This is a demanding role that featured both my singing and acting capabilities.
Maid - Supporting Role - Woman Changed into Fox
The maid is a flirty woman who carries the comic element of the play. Â In this new work, I was able to help create both the character of the maid and the musical language in which she sings.

Sharon Graham - Supporting Role - Master Class
Sharon Graham is participating in a Master Class with the great Maria Callas. She does not like how Mm. Callas treats her and argues with her. Â This role showcased both acting and singing capabilities.
LITTLE THEATER OF ALEXANDRIA
Xenia - Supporting Role -Â Boris Godunov, Â Mussorgsky
Xenia is the daughter of Boris Godunov. The opera is sung in Russian.

Iris -supporting role-Semele, Handel
Iris is a goddess in this English opera.
WASHINGTON OPERA
Pamina - Lead Role -The Magic Flute, Mozart
The incomparable Victor Borge conducted this opera which was sung in English.
AMERICAN OPERA
Countess - Leading Role - The Marriage of Figaro (the Las Vegas Version),  Mozart
In this unique version of the classic Marriage of Figaro my singing and dramatic and comedic acting talents were highlighted.
IN SERIES
Michaela - Supporting Role -Â Carmen, Bizet
This was the classic version of Carmen, sung in French.  Michaela is the fiancé of Don Jose who leaves her when he becomes obsessed with Carmen.

Toured with Choral Arts as soloist to Brazil and Argentina

About Laura
PROFESSIONAL, VERSATILE, ADAPTABLE, ALWAYS LEARNING
Ever since I was young, I have been entertaining... from putting on "shows" for my family, to singing at the Kennedy Center, to writing and recording music. I studied Opera in graduate school and have been performing in opera, oratorio, concerts, and musical theater ever since. I have done some voice over work and recordings of music I've written as well as some recording through other organizations. I am excited about the prospect of work in film, television and commercials. While I have not done work professionally in film and television, I believe that the work I have done over 30 years shows my acting ability, professional work ethic, versatility, and adaptability.
